Description If you wanted to get a stereotypical photo of a Cuban street you couldn't do much better than finding an old 1950's American car next to some Cuban Communist propaganda.

I'm Canadian. My government does not restrict travel to Cuba and every year hundreds of thousands of Canadians visit there along with lots of Europeans.

If you're a fan of classic 1950's American cars, Cuba is the best place to see them still on the road.

If you wanted to, could you import a car or something like that from Cuba?

You're referring to the Havana transport system right? I didn't snap any photos of those trailer buses.

Yeppers, those things are crazy. I hear they are phasing them out.

It looks as if those buildings were painted the same year as the car was built.

With the exception of areas immediately around the major tourist hotels all of Cuba's infrastructure is in a state of advanced decay.
It's sad to see so many stately old buildings falling apart. On the other hand, the Cuban people are some of the warmest and friendliest people you could hope to meet.
