i started drawing a larger piece with several characters and drew the characters in fragments. i liked how this pose turned out with Andy and Gogo.Gogo's wardrobe courtesy of the Goodwill grab bin

It's funny, It reminds me of a song from the band Lazyeye titled No you are #1. It fits the tone quite well, I think.

I'm nearly a year late in response but, if you look at the whole thing, all of bomango is like a weird FLCL reference. And it pokes the soft spots in my little black heart just like FLCL did when i was younger.

Andy's lookin a little emotionally dead there, what did just find out his parents died and now he's just a bump on a log? Cause if so that would be terrible and i hope Gogo makes hi feel better somehow.

I love how andy doesn't care that gogo is hanging on to him for dear life. Its like if a guy walked by and said, "dude, you got some hot chick clinging to you?" and Andy would just scoff and say "Ya...it happens" and continues to play tetris or whatever. Its a pretty cute piece but, I like how the facial expressions could somehow mean something else maybe.

It is......whoa. I never thought GoGo could be so...Calm? Loving? Not Motherly! Never that! Hmmm....? She kinda looks...Scared. Like she worried she'll lose her andy. T^T I just made me self cry! T^T She juat looks like she knows/feels something bad is going to happen to andy and she will lose him cause of it. And seeing the cell it makes me think first time driving without parents or something. Yepper's, a car accident. Ad a seemingly fatel one at that....T^T I need stop makey me self cry! Interesting. I'm trying to find out all I can about Gogo through your artwork, and while I'm discovering that she's a destructive free spirit with a fun-loving personality, its unique to see that even she has a vulnerable side that she reveals to only a select few. Nice.

Okay I can't get enough of this one, it's like crack to me I just keep looking at it and looking at it and looking at it. I love the way it shows that Gogo truly cares about Andy. Just thinking about what she would do to someone who messed with Andy quickly does away with any thoughts that this is out of character for her.

Almost nothing beats wear'n other people's clothes, and I mean that most ernestly. That hat is awsomeness. Gogo always seems to remind me of my need to buy steel toed boots. I never quit realize how tall she really is until you put some one else right next to her. Sweet picture. ^_^

I'm definitely diggin how this came out. I like the emotions goin on too. That's pretty earthly. She's all into while he's playing games. Not that he isn't into it as well, but just so comfortable with it. Reminds me alot of high school and a few close friends I'd chill with.
And that hat and coat did NOT come from the Goodwill!!! The pants and shirt? Sure. But you'd have to go to the Salvation Army to get the free freaky stuff like that. 
Oh and I disagree with one of the comments below. I think the flats look perfect for the piece. It helps focus more on what the characters are doin in my opinion.
