Illegal to kill, harm or sell vipers in the UK? Well, now I'm happy! It is not so here in Finland; majority of people kill them at the spot, justifying their actions saying that their bite harms children or dogs.

That's a shame- although they are poisonous, they're definitely not the most deadly, and there is an anti-venom for the bite. You just have to leave them alone, really!

Wait in Norse mythology doesn't Jormungandr KILL Thor? Anywho leave the poor snake be with his tail! It's a security blanket so to speak... =3=

I'd be curios to see how they would portray Jormungandr in a Thor film. Perhaps the one thing Loki would truly, deeply fear-his own son.

We want more Loki's private life snippets. And Angrboda is so seldom found in fanfic! Now, I really would like to hear about Thor's choice of bridal dress...

Now part of me is pondering if Loki ever tried to set Jormungandr up on a date with Ouroboros...

"Now Jormy! You're just being xenophobic! The Greco-Roman pantheon is a fine mythos."
"You're only saying that because you're dating Eris."

Haha, awesome! xD
As for the question earlier as to how she managed to give birth to a snake, I recall a scene from the book Runemarks in which the main character asks Loki how his son could be a snake, and he replied with something along the lines of "Look, I'm a shapeshifter, she was a shapeshifter. We experimented, okay?" Maybe it's something like that?

It's not that much different, is it? The equatorial bulge doesn't add too much on, and he needs to be able to give his tail a good suck when he's feeling insecure.
On the other hand, a polar circumference would probably make him more torpid, which would be good for us, although he would still have odd little hot spots, which might make him wriggly.
Also, I like the idea of an 8,000 mile long snake. XD
Thank you!

My question is...poor Angrboda.
(Okay so that wasn't a question.)
An 8,000 mile snake? I mean...HOW..? How did she DO that...?

VanHinck In reply to plunderer01 [2012-10-02 17:23:31 +0000 UTC]
Well, first he was little, then he GREWWWWW
Honestly, my worry is that many snakes are born with dear little teeth that they use to tap their way out of the eggshell, so in that case, did Jormungandr have some and then did that mean
with the
and
did it?
Oh God I'm trapped inside my own mind I don't want to be here someone help me....
