Description For DarkMousy! Who wanted to see me(!) and Lord Vetinari chillin' on a tropical beach. A mighty fine request to wrap up last year's sketch challenge, I thought.

"Ah, Drumknott... be so good as to escort this googly-eyed creature elsewhere."

"Certainly, sir. And the crab?"

"It can stay."

I still love the dialogue for this picture. XD And the little crab. And your hat.

I think it was this picture that helped get me into reading the Discworld series last year. I am much more caught up now, and I can now agree with experience that Vetinari is amazing. ^^

Ooh, seriously? If I helped, that's awesome. I'm glad you've been enjoying the series!

Discworld always needs more fans.
And so does Vetinari, whether he likes it or not.

It did spark an interest, yes. ^^ I've read all of them except for Pyramids (which my library SAYS it has but apparantly doesn't), and most of the ones involving the Lancre witches. I read one or two of them and they weren't for me. There's probably a few others, two, but he has so many of them that I've given up trying to keep track.

Oh, but of course he wants more fans! Fans can be made to do his every whim, which can only be useful to him.
...Of course, they can also be clingy, fawning creatures, so I can see how that would be a detriment to one's work.

The picture is so adorably quirky -- and the comment equally so. Yes, the crab should definitely stay.

Hee, thank you. (Indeed, a crab can be rather good company.)

Surely it isn't the first time he's been in that situation.
