Misk's power comes from inter-dimensional-bovine - but not quite like the cows we herd here. No, some big, scary dimensional creatures herd much more terrifying beasts for their steak-dinners.

This transformation happens rarely - and when I say rarely, I mean it happens maybe three times total throughout her story. It's a painful, frenzied state where her power breaches her threshold and starts to take a truer shape, rather than be stuck in a shitty human gut.

She is so unleashed right now that Misk as a person is absent, dormant and not in control. When she was a child, upon first being poisoned with this power, she transformed. Her father managed to subdue her with his own ability, and soothed her nightmares with tales of the Were-Haggis.

Clearly whoever pissed her off has never faced a were-haggis.
