So yeah... two weeks ago I giggled and was all like "Aww" at the part in the episode Criss Cross. The other day, I actually got around to trying to find out exactly what the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman" was about.

Somehow, I doubt that Meg would be the romantic choice for Richard Gere. Still, a nice interpretation from a classic movie. Well done.

Hehe, is that based on Richard Gere's opionion? 'Cause we all know Meg is into the older, debonair, man. XD But anywho, thank you very much. It was tough picking out which part of the ending scene to intepret, but I chose that one just because it felt the most moving.

And a good choice, in my opinion. After all, poor Meg is just looking for love and respect (which she sure as hell doesn't get from her family). And as for Richard Gere - when's the last time anybody saw him in a movie? Leave us face it: the guy's a has-been. Still, I wouldn't blame Meg for being attracted to him. And no doubt, she probably has fantasies similar to your artwork.

Yeah, Gere has had his day in the sun. Still enjoy him in movies, but yeah, his lime light has passed. And oh yes, we all know Meg has very dreamy idealic fantasies; such as some space lovin' or riding nude on a white stallion (both from Friends Without Benefits).
Yet, she's not the only one who's had silly fantasies. XD

How about Meg fantasizing about Buddy Holly himself? It would certainly be an original concept. And Buddy Holly is still widely revered by music lovers world wide more than 60 years after his death.
