That's a bit harsh. Buttons on eyes is not original enough to characterize as a concept you could protect with copyright. Obviously it is something cute (or creepy, depends on the wanted effect) that lots of artists like to draw, or that exist in many movies (like Coraline for instance) or comics. Obviously it was not intended to resemble your specie, I'm sure you can see that for yourself.
What I mean is that you didn't have to make her feel bad about it.

As i stated above i just happened to notice it as i was going through adopts, My adopts are "dolls" with a button eye that can turn into humans, the eye that is a button on the doll form turns into a normal eye only with the typical button markings as they turn into humans, I am ok with it i was just stating a fact, i didn't mean to sound "harsh" as i worked hard for this species. And her adopts are 'elves' while mine are 'human/dolls'.

Oh... Are they exactly alike? Sorry I did not mean for him to look like one of your species... I mean while drawing him I put a button on one of his cuffs and a random thought popped up, "Why not fill him with buttons?"

Thats ok i just noticed it as i was looking through adopts, he is very cute he just looked a bit like my species Button Adopts, Dont feel to bad about it and i hope he goes to a good home.

Thank You I did work very hard on my species and I love them very much, this why i was a little worried about buttons, but i can see a clear difference between him and my species and that is that mine are human dolls while yours are elves. And elves and humans are completely different from one another.
