Why not practise some dragon heads with this Rapidographs? I often have a hard time to decide on where to put "pure blacks" in these kinds of illustrations, so I thought It would Β be a good idea to try it out. Still not too satisfied with my crosshatching technique......I need to try to shade without any hatching at all, that might be something to consider for tomorrow.....ΒWhat do you think of it? Please let me know int he comments as always! Suggestions for Things to draw in this "Inktober"-Thingy are well apprechiated!

Thank you very much! I wanted to try out kindoff that comic-book-inking that has big black areas on it. So I decided to study that somewhat, and see how Its gonna turn out. Iam quite glad how it turned out
Thought that the Inktober might be a good way to get back drawing stuff. Its not like I haven't drawn/Painted anything in the last time, but none of It is finished, or it was just practise. So lets see. I hope I can still find time to paint on my "big pictures" while this Inktober thing is going on.

Hmm, why don't you try and get out of your comfort zone? Maybe try drawing something completely different, maybe an animal, or maybe if you don't want to go too off, you can try a prehistoric wyvern

Well iam already drawing animals. I got a Sparrow and an Owl......thats something. I could also do a Raven, and a Toucan....didn't draw them yet. I already drew Deep Sea fish, and octopus.....mmmh.
I might try and draw a wolf in this Inktober. I never ever in my whole life drew a wolf. They're kinda cool, but drawn soooooooooo very often. But maybe its good to have a bit of knowledge on how to do them.
I think I could also try draw some people. I've never been too good at them, and I would love to be ablte to create acceptable looking persons. Might do that Tomorrow or in the Inktober........
Wyvern mmh. Didn't draw these yet either.... Maybe its because I am not so fond of the wyvern concept. They're most often more like Animals, as opposed to the wisdom of the dragons.... (at least in my mind ^^)

Thank you! Made crosshatching, where I found it to be necessary. Fine Rapidograph helps a lot with this! If I was to do this with fineliners, I would have gone crazy.

I never liked fineliners too much. They were either not waterproof, or when they were, the nibs got bad quite fast, especially on the thin ones. Also the Blacks were never that rich, and I could naver manage fast movements with them, without the inkflow breaking up. I liked to use Nib-Pens instead, but they are often not so handy to use, when on the go. Also you cannot achive the most accurate, same-thickness-line. So I finally decided few months ago to get these Rapidographs, and they are awesome! They have fast drying, very black ink, and come in various sizes. The thinnest one I have is like 0.1mm or so, which is very thin. And due to them being made from metal, they might be part of my set for the rest of my life! xDΒ

Ja, die kann man auch mal nice zeichnen......da hat man weniger zu tun! MΓΌsste ich aber auch mal machen, da kann man sich mehr auf Hautfalten/Mukkies konzentrieren.

Thanks! I always struggle with clean crosshatching, so I found it to be about time to do some precise work. Inktober seems to be great to practise this!
