These are some of the Sketches I did for my Visual Development project "Monuments" that I finished in 2020. Wanted to upload them for a long time, and finally got myself to do it. I wanted to combine a graphical and an illustrative style to symbolize the change the main protagonist goes through in the way he sees the world.

The two top ones are worked out a bit better, but I've decided on different ones for the final illustrations. You can find them in my collection linked below. Enjoy!

A visual development for an 2-D animated short film. The Focus lies on the stylization of nature and the places, which the protagonist comes across. His fantasies and impressions, his change from the factual view of an explorer to and inebriated mindset of exploration.
