Description
Was the first person to get fan art out for what is now known as Shadow Mega Mewtwo X . At the time, my focus was on speed rather than trying to be tactful or funny. Seriously, it was a dark looking Mewtwo with a giant crystal stabbed into its body. "Now where have I seen that before?" Oh, right, I've done that. For me, it's chuckle worthy. And I sort of just sat there, staring at it with my eyes crossed for a few hours, wondering if I could make some really stupid joke off of that fact, or make the ultimate ship, with possibly my queen of stabbing death combined with what looks like the end result of that. Then again, apparently if a Mewthree loves you, they show it through the equivalent of a Klingon mating ritual, brutalistic punching added.

Anyway, finally got to... something. Wasn't feeling the funny, and really wasn't willing to have Mewblade make out with what I sort of consider a normal Mewtwo. (I have this weird incest rule. Won't pair my Mewthrees with Mew or Mewtwo in a million years, even though there is some weird sibling thing going on amongst the set.) Decided to show off some stabbers instead, because why not make a salute to dark types being well... dark types: Scary auras and claws of ripping (Vicebane), metal armada of death (Mewblade), and looks that can kill (Shadow Mewtwo). Sexy.

Basic drawing really, except for what I wanted to do with MB's right arm. Still never figured that one out but eh... I gave up after redrawing the arm about a dozen times or so. Everything else is super generic, just a matter of placement. I wanted Shadowtwo with the most screen grab. Normally I would never layout my pictures like this, but rule of three with their heads arranged as they are vertically helps minimize that a little at least. Crystal was fun to play with. Otherwise, weird composition, been told it should be an album cover because of how broody and stereotypical it looks.

(One really random whine. Of my Mewthrees, how is Vicebane's style not common?)
