I got bored one day and doodled this little picture up. I've been itching to draw my Pokemon Mewthree species (from right to left, Harddense, Vicebane, Mewblade, Swadeaqua, Demisewan) as what they would look like when they were little... without making it gruesome. I was tempted to do some scars and bandages and what not on especially Mewblade. Frankly, she looks way too healthy in here. Anyone who knows these characters will probably call me on a few things (although the wrong color for Demisewan's tail likely won't be the first to come to mind). Harddense's tail hasn't quite molded into it's seperate bits (he has an Onix design tail). Vicebane... well before he spontaneously combusted into his red demonic appearance he was a ghostly blue ball of fluff (isn't he so cute!). Mewblade's blades aren't grown in and she hasn't yet received her mysterious energy cannon. Swadeaqua is normal. Demisewan's paws are joined in contrast to being seperated. Was very fun to do this pic.The coloring was done with Chartpak markers.

Yes, that he was. All of his fur, and the top layers of his dermis were chemically scalded off and never replaced.

Probably initially, but to the depth it went (down to the bone in some places) it would have seared a lot of nerves. Vicebane's sense of touch is seriously malfunctioned, so he doesn't recognize physical sensations the same way you and I would.

Though he's an evil character, there would be some things I do feel really bad about putting him through, and leaving him with.

Even older, she's still a cute ball o' fluff to me. Seriously would love some stuffed animal version of the toddler form. Too bad this stage probably lasted under a few weeks.
Chemical reaction with the fluid around him involved a lot of damage. Good thing he was unconcious for the whole thing. I feel quite sorry for those who experience burns. Apparently it's very painful.

Hmm... possibly Demisewan but generally they're considered to be created and awakened at the same time. I've seen worse mispelling, and their names are generally wrong anyway. Swadeaqua is the one you mentioned, and there is an example of a really badly spelt name.

I'd hope a group of children would look sweet and darling. I'd probably go for hugging Demisewan or Vicebane, they're so fluffy.
Vicebane spontaneously combusted and his type changed, so he had to look different originally. I like him in red too, but as a youngster he's going to be odd looking.
Mewblade, Iustitia and Vita Sanguinence all have a signature "mystery" item. Vita wears her cloak, Iustitia has a sword and scales (of which she stores in "hammer space" most of the time), and Mewblade has her energy cannon. They randomly appear when they come of age, or maturity, whichever happens first. So one day Mewblade simply had it once her body was considered developed. The doctors probably didn't rip it off since touching their weapons/items sends the three into absolute torrents of distress. It's absolute perversion to them.

AWWW their all so CUTE!!!! When their babys..... Then they grow up and try to kill you! All but HARDDENSE hes a sweet heart! Even VICEBANE was CUTE!!!! What happened?!

Most baby anything looks exceptionally adorable. The one thing I find ugly, aside the larva variety ones are probably small dogs, since they're meant to look cute when they're full grown. If Vicebane wasn't cute then the laws of baby animals would be broken.
Generally when it comes to being destroyed by my Mewthrees, Vicebane doesn't kill people, so you're safe from him. Demisewan and Swadeaqua... err, you'd have to be a skilled nuisance to get them to want to cause you harm. Harddense would have to be by shear accidental fluke. Then with Mewblade, if she wants you dead, then you probably really deserved it.
Being tots as they are in the image doesn't mean they came pre-packaged with spiteful ill-intention. Eventually all of them became programmed that way, with Harddense's programming botching the most. Swade's sexuality was someone's (lonely, perv scientist) joke. Vicebane was perfect. Demisewan's had problem's overriding her Haunter genes, and Mewblade's was hit and miss.
Physically, Mewblade, Harddense and Demisewan went through "teething". Mewblade's blades grew in over time, Harddense's tail segmented and rusted further, and Demisewan's paws seperated. Mewblade was lucky to be alive. Vicebane's body (likely an immuno response) caused his skin to produce chemicals that reacted with his tank's fluids, subsequently burning (spontaneously combusted) him so severly he's scarred, badly skin damaged and almost blind. Vicebane would probably be fixable if Mewblade were to use a Recover on him, but that never happened. He was programmed to be accustomed to the damage anyway.

These are so cute, yet they all look sad for some reason, like they all need a hug or something.

I sort of went for the impression of innocence before they all got whacked with personality programs and false memories. Basically they're harmless, blank slates during most of their development. For them to be functioning adults despite their ages (they are full grown between 8-11 months) they needed a lot of mental adjustments to cover for the fact that they were not mentally grown-up. Anything physical sort of came up as mistakes, especially for Vicebane. What I wanted really was to show them before they were forced to be what they are, something innocent, pure, and unable to do wrong. And also something tragically vulnerable.

Yeah, several times with the whole cuteness thing. I like them tiny, they're so harmless and innocent looking... for once. Nothing like a change from the adult themes. I don't mind that you can't come up with anything. It's nice that you took the time to comment. Thank you so much.

This is a very cute act of boredom I suppose. I admire you for making such an amazing pokemon species, I must say I love mewblade and swadeaqua the most. The coloring is fantasic, those markers must be really good, but personally I think its your skill.

Boredom does a lot of weird things. Most people do simple, doodly things when they're bored, so this is no better. Well... okay, maybe a bit better. Most stuff I see is scrapped really quick for some odd reason.
I can't figure out why those two are general favorites. Mewblade is overal preferred... then usually the guys like Swadeaqua... I'll never get that. Oh well. Interesting to me how people work. Chartpak Markers are pretty basic, they bleed a lot reason why the blend so well. Takes several hours to color pictures because it's so much layering. Although they do great cell shading in under 20 minutes. Expensive things to invest in though... Wouldn't reccomend people to go out and get them.

Yeah... those who know Vicebane find him to look really weird as blue. Kind of funny considering the five of them are mine and I should technically be the most worried with warping different parts of them. As it goes for Vicebane in that picture he's still with his Ghost/Dark/Psychic type appearance before his type switches to Poison/Dark/Psychic. Kind of the reason why he looks more closely related to Demisewan. I ended up writing it down in the description, spontaneous combustion. Vicebane ended up getting irritated in the tank and produced a lot of acid and seared himself... reason why in the end he has exposed skeletal bits everywhere, red skin and glazed eyes. Someone else got on my case about that too... *Shrugs*
