i actually think that froakie and chespin are the most creative, being with all the designs and markings of them.
but i like fennekin too, even though it doesnt seem like they didnt put much thought into its creation.
but still, Chespin is my favorite~

I like the fox, but hate the other two. I feel like the pokemon team needs to put more thought and time into the designs of the starters. They have sucked since after blue/red and silver/gold. -.-

I kind of agree with you there, it appears to be aimed simply at lower elementary school aged kids with the super cartoony style now.
I feel like chespin is either a ground type or normal type they stuck an odd green hood on and called a grass type
If fennekin was in the style of the first 2 seasons it would be even cuter.
