Aaaaaaaahaaahaahaaa ;U; <3 I kept this message in my inbox for quite a while now, because I just wanted it to keep popping up so I could surprise myself again and again ;U;
I just never get tired of looking at it! I originally planned to print it out and hang it on my wall, but I think creating an envelope for my sketchbooks with it would be a much better idea <3 For years I wanted to see at least one of my characters drawn by you and I am overjoyed that this small dream finally came true TwT AND that you had so much FUN with her, aaah, the happiest moments I have on here is when commission artists tell me my characters are a fun task! I put a lot of heart into them and wish for them to be fun to draw 8D
But now to the actual work: The colours are just W O W! Your technique shows the entire strength Lydian's colour palette has and still it is going pretty strong along with that just as colourful pattern bg (the slight change of that still means a lot to me for this very reason ;W; ) The title and associations make me feel like she belongs onto the most colourful Mario Party board to rock it! (and funnily enough she indeed spends most of her time in a very colourful world <3) All of her natural markings are so fluently swimming into each other and the liveliness in those lines and pose TWT It makes me wishlessly happy and honestly - I expected nothing less <3
Thank you so much for this great commission, I will treasure it and - definitely again some time in the further future - maybe have a task for you again, which will hopefully be just as fun
