Description These drawings have consumed a lot of my boredom. I wanted to practice/master drawing chinese dragon scales to find the easiest p  rocess to get accurate scales. What stumped me? In a 3D space, how to come up with a process to draw the Y axis coming forward in perspective. My brain fizzled out on that.. and THEN, I went to blender and played with the array modifer. I'll post that later, when I can get to my computer.

fav.me/ddhkeic here is the array modifer blend I made, and there is st.ash file too, if y'all want to play with it.

These can be used for reference.

This is the exact Method I am searching for, would definitely love to see a tutorial on achieving this exact effect with the Array Modifier.  It would make drawing and modeling snakes a lot more fun and appealing for meas well as more realistic and believable.

I had attempted to make scales in Blender with the Array Modifier. I posted them to my facebook, but not here, I legit don't know why I didn't. I'll post them today. Will try to see how I can file the blender file.
