Description Previously, I uploaded my own design for Batgirl's costume [link] . This time around, we have Wonder Woman.

Yeah, I know that she's gotten an update recently, though I've not read any of the stories for quite some time. But Diana's gone back for another round of having a more "modern" version of her outfit, including the black jacket, so much like fashion, some things come and go, and come back again.

Here, I'm playing up the side of Diana's persona which is what may very well be comics' original warrior princess. I've armored her up a bit more, and added a more Greek flavor to her overall dress. She's going to be keeping her red, blue and gold colors, including stars. Her tiara's more of a head protector, and her hair's actually tied into a long, low ponytail. The breastplate retains the stylized W logo, but I have it extended a bit further down to resemble her totem animal, an eagle.

Diana's not only been about being the Amazons' tie to the outside world as a diplomat, but also as a warrior, so in addition to her signature lasso, I added a sword and shield. She's used these weapons before, so that's not a completely new thing, but I'd have them on hand much more often, whether or not she actually uses them.

Thanks!  I wanted to give as much of her outfit a properly armored look befitting a warrior.

Pretty soon, I want to finish the Alicia lineart first, at the very least.

I like the practicality of your design. Diana in this piece is beautiful, but not unrealistically. The logical next step for art like this is coloring, of course. ^^

I really musn't make a habit of that. Telepathy can be disturbing.

In this case I look forward to it.
