Here's Hijikata Toshizo from the serie Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan.
In fact he's a historical figure from the Edo period in Japan. He and his men appeared in a lot of manga/animes/movies... Japanese people seem to love the Shinsengumi...and so do I XD. It must be convenient for Japanese history student . I wish we could do the same in France (*go make a manga about a half-vampire Napoleon...*).
Hakuouki is certainly not the most accurate depiction of the Shinsengumi but I love Yone Kazuki art style (bishies everywhere o_o)! I wish I could draw like her T_T.

I don't like drawing blood, so I deliberately painted this background. But it's a sword fighting so...it's up to you to decide .

Yeah, as u've said, it's what fit the character as he's supposed to be a swordsman and unless he use a wood sword instead of a normal one, I'm afraid he's gonna spill some blood

Nice! I do love the movement of it... One thing I love about Hakuouki is that they aren't JUST pretty... They are samurai too! You did an excellent job of showing that! He's my favorite too. :3 <3

C'est vraiment très réussi! Je suppose que c'est colorié avec de l'aquarelle, j'aime beaucoup le style^^
Je suis d'accord, la série est vraiment bien et doit bien motiver pour apprendre les noms des perso du Shinsengumi lol Enfin je n'arrive vraiment pas à imaginer un manga avec un Napoleon mi-vampire lool

En tout cas j'avais déjà entendu parler du Shinsengumi dans Kenshin mais je ne me doutais pas qu'ils avaient eu autant de succès ^^.
Le truc de Napoléon c'était juste une blague (ou...quoique...) .

J'ai regardé les étapes, c'est très instructifs! J'aime beaucoup aussi le dessin final
Pareil pour le Shinsengumi, je les avais aussi vu dans Kenshin en premier et je les aimais bien déjà lol
Haha je m'en doutais pour Napoléon, remarque t'as raison c'est peut être une piste ^^ Après tout y'a deja des mangas sur la révolution française!
