Give me a name of the race that appeared in the show that fit with your description. If you can't. I will still stick it with Changeling idea. Black bug that lay egg and have queen. Having hive mind (most fan theory) and quickly adapt to surrounding (Xenomorph form change varies to the species of their host). They suit with Changeling more than anything.

Manticores (stinger tail and highly aggressive), gargoyles (blending in with the environment) or, though it's not in the show, I highly doubt the DON'T exist, giant wasps, or giant social spiders (spiders that build communal webs) changeling are more akin to The Thing, or other shapeshifters (Odo from Star Trek Deep Space Nine, for instance)

Thing is, xenomorphs are more hive oriented, which is the only similarity to changelings. The Thing is a true shapeshifter. Xenomorphs don't care about blending in with the local populace, they'll just eat everyone ins sight who they haven't brought back to use as hosts for a new generation of xenomorphs. The Thing prefers to blend in with the populace, and will only reveal it's true nature when need be, like changelings. Xenomorphs are like a wasp colony, lashing out at anything that gets too close, and using their prey to feed their brood. Giant wasps or ants would be the perfect parallel for the xenomorphs that make their way to the dimension of My Little Pony. The Thing would work for changelings.

The xenomorph fused with a Nargacuga? Lil' AJ, don't feel bad about getting help. That was a bit much for a 1-on-1 fight. Thing's got armor and speed for days, not to mention acid blood, wrecking your sharpness ever faster than normal just for getting the hit in.
