Description
Finally finished the piece that I intended for battle 40 at unfortunately due to work and all the December-related stuff, I was unable to finish it on time, but here it is.The theme was Trap-Jaw from "Masters of the Universe" but I thought I´d add some twist to it by adding Mystique from the X-Men and have her shape-shift into him. Now, that´d be a weird cross-over! hehe

This is what I had in mind for the battle since the beginnin' but unfortunately didn´t had enough time to do it properly and didn´t wanted to drop out or be a no-show so I had to submit the "unfinished" version.
The good thing is that I got it done and lots of folks are diggin´ it, so that works for me

Looks nice Vax. my only complaint is that it is too symmetrical right now the middle. Since the theme was trap jaw maybe a 60 40 split in his favor instead of a 50 50 split of character view. But the idea is clear and the execution is there brother. Great work!

Thanks Dreno! Perhaps you´re right, but the reason I wanted to show "enough" of Mystique was to add some sexyness to the illust and contrast TrapJaw's bizarre looks! Maybe if I hadn´t done it for the battle, I would have shown even less of him, more like a hint of who Mystique was transforming into without making it too clear. On the symetrical side, yeah, I should have played around more with it instead of just having a 50/50 split right in the middle, but I didn´t had the luxury of time and that was the first idea that crossed my mind and went along with it.

Depends on which X-Men team! I doubt though that we'd get the old fashion villains team up as the Brotherhood would work with Skeletor!

I mint they wouldn't work together as the Brotherhood do have standards and Skeletor is just not subtle at all they'd know he's too evil and untrustworthy!
Maybe if the villains were Apoculypes and Skeletor!

You´re right, but maybe villains like Sabretooth wouldn´t have much problem working along with Skeletor´s forces as long as the "price" were right. On the other hand, I was thinking that maybe Evilyn and Mystique would either hate each other´s guts or make an interesting deadly duo, they both have shape-shifting abilities besides their own unique talents. But if Apocalypse teamed up with Skeletor, now that´d be really cool to read and would definitely be a deadly threat to any X-Team and He-Man´s allies!
