Description

During her visit with Inki Willow began to have another fit and was urged back to her bed. While her body lacked the energy to resist, her mind, instead, was left in a fit of wordless protest. Her head was foggy but the concern over her dear friend pierced through the veil like a lighthouse on a cape. The ordeal plagued her thoughts with horrible scenarios of "what if" and soon began to take it's toll. Previously she had been curled up in her bed fretting over the state of the town and her own health-- but this? This was different.

Inki wasn't waking up.

With few friends to claim as her own, the thought of never getting to speak to Inki was devastating. There were so few she trusted like she did with him. If he left, who would she turn to? She hadn't seen nor heard of Sparrow after his disappearance and Farren was an enigma in and of himself. Hopefully they were alright... but....

Was... she afraid of being alone?

The strain of it all finally got to her. With tears rolling down her cheeks and a feverish chill striking her spine, Willow curled up in a tight ball. This was the last straw-- she just couldn't handle it-- the bridle she attempted to cast over her sanity chomped at the bit, jostling her emotions and overwhelming the poor girl with relentlessness strain. She heaved and sobbed which only triggered her coughing more and eventual spit up of darkened blood. Each day blurred with the next causing the bedridden girl to lose track of her time. Within a few days of seeing Inki, a stark white streak pierced through her hair. Like the sickness that spread through Wynsiph, the silver strands, too, grew in number.
