Description
At around 02:01 NST, an automatic fire alarm from Newport International Airport Terminal 1 was sent to NFD ARFF HQ. Currently, Engine 412,413 Ladder 410, 411 and ARFF Battalion is on scene checking and investigating if there are any fire. Currently, Terminal 1 is shutdown and all departing flights from terminal 1 is cancelled, and some arriving fligts is diverted from the time being while investigation is on-going. Terminal 1 is evacuated by Airport officials and transported to nearby Hotels by Shuttle Bus.
