is it wrong if i interpret this as some sort of sick subservience? like, not you, but the you portrayed in this portrait. reverting to base instinct in an attempt to forget all of the complicated issues? like, in the picture, wolfe has this sort of hazy, day-dream-ish feel about them, like they're not really seeing what's in front of them.
either way, i think this is very expressive any very well-done. i especially love the phasing colors at the edges of wolfe's outline.

There's something very meaningful to me about the slight red/blue tint you give the outlines on this character sometimes (like in your icon). Maybe a tiny reference to how this isn't just a one-dimensional character, and not even two-dimensional - but real, 3D; not just an icon of your feelings, but an embodiment of them placed in a 2D plane.
