Description
The Moulin de la Galette is a windmill situated near the top of the district of Montmartre. The area has been depicted by artists such as Renoir, van Gogh and Picasso. The windmill has been classified as a monument since 1939.It is also the name of a restaurant situated slightly lower on the hill. This restaurant also has a windmill above it, called the Moulin Radet, after the family which owns both windmills.
