Both in some way. My muse and story's main character - Karyana Destine - is in some way cursed by fate, as her the major aspects of her life have been prophesized. Part of her accepts it, part of her rejects it⦠and when I mean 'part of her', I mean it⦠kinda literally.
Side note, her very name means 'To create destiny' or 'to make fate'.
