OoooOOOOOOh, pretty!
*The strange yelp of an unseen creature sounded in the leafy canopy above as the band of Space Pirates made their way through the dense foliage of the humid jungle planet they'd arrived on. Their captain hadn't specified why they'd come here, only saying that there might be something important hidden deep within the planetwide mass of trees.
"Oi, how much longer d'ya think we'll be here, cap?"
Miri's dark brown eyes turned to her crew. "We'll get there when we get there, trust me, you'll know." She snapped quietly, still scanning the area for whatever she was searching for.
Kimmic shrugged beside her, his Force senses reaching out in search of their target, whatever it was. "Still, it would help if you told them just what it is we're looking for, Miri." He said pointedly.
She scowled, thinking for a moment. "Put some faith in me, for space sake! Besides, I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. All you need to know is that we're looking for something... out of place."
Her crew mumbled their acknowledgements as they began to fan out amongst the thick groves of vegetation that spread out for miles around them, keeping check on one another with their radios.
Hours passed, and the planet's suns descended into the horizon, not that anything on the surface could see past the immense number of plants that seemed to cover nearly every available space.
Miri was a moment away from telling everyone to head back to the ship for the night, when a loud yelp warbled in on her radio, startling both she and Kimmic.
"What was that?" She called in.
For a moment, all that could be heard on the other end sounded like panicked running and panting. "Come in, what just happened?" She demanded, withdrawing her blaster and darting a furtive glance around her.
Kimmic stood straight up, looking fearful. "Someone's just died. We need to evacuate off of this planet right now."
Nodding, Miri radioed to her crew to head back to the ship as fast as they could. "What was that?" She wondered as they began hurrying to meet up with the others.
"What you were looking for, I'd wager." Kimmic panted.

Just so you'll have it if you need to reference off of it. Still, this was a great story and I think it was super cool that you were able to just come up with it like that!

There's several things that had an impact or some sort of influence on it, but I have to say the two main things that inspired me to make Chasing Fate is One Piece and Skyrim.

Yeah, it's sort of a running joke about how short Ruto is, and I've been trying to learn to draw for a while now so I could make it into a comic, but I guess it's just not meant to be...
