“Up” is a 2009 American computer-animated comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios about a cranky old man and an overeager Wilderness Explorer who fly to South America in a floating house suspended from helium balloons. It is distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, and premiered by opening the 2009 Cannes Film Festival as the first animated film ever to do so. The film was released on May 29, 2009 in North America and is scheduled for release on October 16, 2009 in the United Kingdom.

Es distribuida por Walt Disney Pictures, y su estreno fue el 29 de mayo de 2009 en Estados Unidos. La película está dirigida por Pete Docter, director de Monsters, Inc. y cuenta con las voces de Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai y John Ratzenberger en su versión original. En ella trabajaron cerca de 70 animadores.
