Expertise: When she first joined the Quasers, Sofia was primarily a healer, but she decided to focus more on learning how to wield her water magic. Despite her current impressive skills as an ice adept, Sofia's role in Polaris is primarily that of a researcher and a biological scientist. It is not uncommon for her to go out of research expeditions to the various continents.

History: As the bastard daughter of a whore, Sofia grew up in the slums of Melruun. She narrowly managed to avoid following the same route as her mother thanks to her healing powers, and worked as a servant while apprenticing under a personal healer of a wealthier household. The son of the household eventually ran off to join the Erius Knights, and she tired of hearing the stories that his parents concocted. Growing increasingly irritated by the image of what she couldn't be, she decided to join the Quasers on a whim.

Starstruck by the technology and masses of information in Polaris, Sofia busied herself with research. Although she had the talent to be medic, she decided to focus on water magic... especially since she hadn't had the chance to learn such skills back in Melruun. A little after she was promoted to Lieutenant status, her hard work paid off and she was officially one of the ice adepts in Polaris. At the same time, she delved into the experimental side of biology, and she also wrote several books and scrolls based on her research.

Her achievements, along with her generally amiable and easy-going nature eventually resulted with her promotion to Commander rank, and she has since set up her own lab in the depths of Polaris...

+ it's actually quite rare to see her out and about because she's usually holed up in her lab when she's not on an expedition
+ rarely loses her temper, but she shows her anger in... different ways (what do you mean you've contracted a mysterious virus-)
+ despite how nice and motherly she is, she has a surprising lack of morals compared to most people
+ likes to stop by the infirmary every now and then and touch up on her healing skills so she doesn't get too rusty
+ occasionally volunteers as a librarian in Polaris

Skill: Bannik Slap
Activated by touching the flesh of a person with her own bare skin. Upon contact, the person touched will have their wounds slowly healed over the course of "one turn". This skill was originally known as Bannik Touch, but seeing as how it was just convenient to slap her comrade's faces and then run off to properly heal the next person....

Skill: Amarok's Spear
1-6 large ice javelins are formed, and are thrown at a single target. Before learning how to use ice magic, the "spears" were thin jets of highly pressurized water.

Skill: Polar Circle
Able to be used once per five "turns". Sofia focuses on analyzing the opponent, and finds a weakness for her allies to attack.

Special: Empress Reign
Requires two turns of preparation. A large amount of ice spears (like in Amarok's Spear) are formed, hovering in midair before they all fall down. It is more than highly likely that other people everyone will be hurt.
