Description
Finally,this is my christmas gift for that I have been working on since this Dragonic year summer.

It's my offered fan-art that depicts Janina's main characters from here comic "The Pact",that how they are gathered in council in a safety of one accommodated cave where a purpule crystals grow.It's an artwork that by the structure and position of the characters and few details resambles two paintings,like The Last Supper of Leonardo Da Vinci and The Conspiracy of Claudius Civilis of Rembrandt Van Rijn.
It's very stratified painting that was designed in two tehnics;classical acril painting and editing pictures,ornaments and adding dark and shine tone with a computer.It was pretty hard to blend the size of the background,characters and table,but after few logical solutions about expanding background and multiplaing some parts and corract satting of characters in complete scenary,I made successfuly one excellent picture that presents a Dragon Council.
The cause of making this painting is to depict Janina's characters in a meeting,standing in uncertainty,then depicting their reactions in a moment when a dragon queen of Earthcrawlers,Azka el Rie says:"We need a plan to solve this little problem".
The characters,set from left to the right,are:unnamed green dragoness,princess Tantura Frostwing,prince Aarok the Black,then wise queen Azka el Rie with her squire holding her battle mace UdriG'lond,unnamed blue dragon and finaly,advisor Nuvok the Brave and the messanger.
The characters in this picture have spacific roles and reactions:
-Green dragoness by the expration of her face revels her role of listeneress and slowly lifts her head as if she wants to hear batter what would it be decided,but the irony is that beneath the mask of one loyal member of the council hides a spy,loyal to antagonistic clan of the Red Dragons,that treacherly smiles,for nobody is aware that they have a coon in their ranks.Everibody has their looks turned in other directions.
-Aarok is rather passive character.He acts as if he is not the member of this council in which he was,by the queens orders,invited,and so he is turned toward his "commrad" to his right,set in his thoughts and memories.He is the guy who dwells in his own painful past,remembering back when he as a welp spend his last day with his mother,sister and father,before the Red Meeting when all of his family and clan were slaughtered by treacherous Red Dragons,under a command of mad queen Synastra the Furious.The dagger in red dragons claws,whose pointy end stabs through Aarok's chest,simbolizes he's deep wound that never healed.It is a memory that scared him for life.Alone,set in his thoughts,his emotions,turned toward the green dragoness he has his eyes closed,because if he were to open them he would have face a spy,disguised.
-Tantura here plays a role of a cunning wise member of all fellowship.After hearing of the queens story about the Sundragon's last nights raid of the queen's chamber and stealing the queens magical nackless,and after the decision of searching a powerful artifacts was brought,Tantura was supporting her head.Thinking,of where they might find the most powerful objects in need.And so she slowly lifts her head,and her expration shines with ideas.She know where they should search and this might help them,to kingdom and to all her family.Don't forget one thiny detail,Tantura is a princess and the member of the council for the good of her clan,and she is also a mother.She has an only daughter that she loves with all her heart and it means to her a whole world.She holds in her hand a pendant of rubin that serves as a memorium of her only living child that loves the most and it's willing to do anything neccesary to protact her and the entire world in peril.
-Azka Ils Rie has a role that is similar to reverend mother,protectoress of all crew.Despite her age and somewhat visible fisical frailty and femininiety,Azka has a will strong as a steel,she has a strenght to fight,even brings a hard decisions,if needed,even if it means to have a heart attack.But when not envolved in political clashes she is often wise and compasioned ruler who does every thing to save everyone in her kingdom.But she doesn't hide her weaknesses,which sometimes can be very dangerous.As a head of the council and Caldarah kingdom,she is placed in a center of the painting as a wise ruler which despite a whole dilemma and hard situation,tries to find a solution with her commrads,for the great danger that threats the survival of the people of Caldarah.But unfortunatly for her,she is not aware that dispite all efforts,her nemesis is always a step foward.She focused her sight toward her blind left eye and she's not aware that Synastra is holding her in check.Synastra can either prodict Azka's next moves or order her spy to assassinate her,wheter her battle mace be of use or no.The rest you can read here>:[link] :
