Second painting of landscape for my mother.With this one I had trubles too,there was just to many flowers to paint,and I had very short time until granduation.So I barely made this picturewith poppies in a medow in spring-summer time.With this picture I had a problem of panting every single flower in the distance.The flowers you see are only small tiny red spots covered with yellow color and saturated with water.I began painting that pic a week after I finished first pic,and I finished it on June.25.2012.five days before granduation.Related content

Oh i can imagine how much work that was! Drawing flowers in the distance that get smaller and smaller is hard, but i think you succeeded!

Well this kind of imagery goes back to the day, as I remember my grandparents, even my dad saying that their was a time when poppies covered whole fields. Now a days those just do not exist because poppies have opium in them and that is the reason I barely see them anymore. I like your method behind this traditional landscape in an almost impressionistic style with these beautiful orientals, well done work for your mother.
