Description CAVE OF THE FIREFLIES
Decided to just take a shot! My first enviromental piece took me about a hour and a half. If I want to do game concept art then I am going to have to learn how to do pieces like this. Still exploring how to use photoshop brushes and stuff. Sorta hard first starting off trying to learn brush control and how the brush will react to pen pressure and etc. but I can definitely get the hang of this. Will probably add more detail later. Not bad for a test run.

Still practicing. It's a huge dream of mine to be a good at digital painting. I just need to learn a good painting style and stick with it. It's insane that there are people who can paint whole landscapes in like 2 hours or less O_O this took me like forever!

Once again, awesome works... but u can make it better by adding higher contrast and removing patches (Am not an expert, but just a suggestion)

Definitely! I was looking up tutorials on how to do the under colors of paintings they said it should stay loose for the first couple of layers. Didn't get to the refinement part yet because I tried it on a small bit of the picture and holy crap it was HARD! I really do need to jump back into practicing digital paint. Hopefully my next piece won't look as blocky Β

Thanks! Yeah. I need to work on tightening up my details a bit more. So it's not a blurry-ish. Β Still trying to figure out how to make my brush smaller or what pressure I have to use without looking too sharp when I try to do the shadows or define textures. I'll figure it out.Β
