a tourniquete isnt a bandage...its a clamp device used to stop excessive bleeding (during war times) it completely cuts off ALL circulation to the appendage its applied to... at this point the appendage(such ass arm or leg) must then be sefvered... DOPE PIECE THOUGH!

amongst other things a Tourniquet is a type of bandage used for wounds that you dont want to cover directly with bandage. it is shaped like a croisant

Actually these suckers are wrong, although not too far off.
A tourniquet is a piece of cloth tied just above an excessive wound. a stick is placed under the cloth, then twisted, which tightens the cloth, cutting circulation.
