Skyrim Reforged is a project I began (and mostly finished) in October 2018. The idea was to redesign (almost) all of Skyrim's melee weaponry in an effort to make them a bit more realistic, as Skyrim is fairly infamous for its bloated and occasionally nonsensical weapon designs.

Blade Width: 2" @ base; 1 1/2" @ profile taper (5 3/4" from tip); 3/8" @ 1" from tip

Pommel Dimensions: 2 1/4"L x 2"

The Daedric Greatsword is probably the dumbest weapon in the set, if not the base game, what with its two points (which both curve inwards, making one of them pointless), its chunky, vestigial guard with its weird, short knucklebow, and its stupid pommel that's clearly just two of the dagger's pommels fused together. Plus, with that shape, can you say "boat oar"?

Once again, Jody Samson comes to the rescue, as he once did an angular, undulating blade that I thought would be a perfect replacement for the boat oar.
