Sideshow Weta, [link] ,is coming out with some small busts of the various trolls in ROTK. My Favorite were the attack trolls, so I decided a lil speed painting was in order. I used the image as reference which you can find at the link. Took about 2 hrs.Related content

This is very Good and Amzingly detailed i had real trouble trying to do these guys so i gave it up lol.
Don't suppose you'd be interested in doing Rogash from Lotr BFME2?

Rogash oh he's a Troll looks kinda like the one Aragorn was fighting at the end of the third film all armoured up n stuff and same kinda sword.

I can easily spend 2 hours wasted on here, mucking about and leaving dodgy comments, and in that time, you can do stuff like this. You still amaze me.
I love that dull look in his eyes, the glimmer of stupidity, as it were, and though the texture on his skin looks simple it works really well. He looks a little depressed though; just something about the way he hunches makes him seem less like a vicious attack troll and more like a 15 year old. Then again, looking at the Weta bust, it's exactly the same pose as they've got, so nevermind!

Wow... speed painting with more detail on the face than I can do in a long, arduous, tedious drawing- and it would still turn out like crap. Alas... I'm working on it. However, not the point. The point is, this is, like everything else you do, awesome. Great work, once again!

Awesome, Mike. The detail is incredible, especially on the face. I always love your troll pics. Hey, have you seen the trailer for the RotK extended edition? They're adding like a freaking extra hour of footage! It looks pretty amazing.

Not only is the Mouth of Sauron in it, but Eowyn also fights that head orc guy with the body fungus, and the Witch King fights Gandalf.
