Gorgeous picture, but also kind of scary! I love reptiles, but the venomous snakes are something I could never handle.

Yah, after we caught her we grabbed some leaf litter that closely matched her color.

Why would you want to catch a poisonous snake? My son and I were out walking by our pond late one evening and almost stepped on a young one. ::shiver:: My former daughter-in-law had a red-tailed boa and a Ball Python while she lived with us. My son had the boa in the tub one day. As he was getting it out, it wrapped around his arm so tight, he couldn't get him unwrapped. I had to go in and assist. I STILL DO NOT like snakes! It's scary how closely they match the leaves. You almost wouldn't see it. :-P

I like all snakes, not just the non-venomous ones. And not to be mean or anything, but snakes are venomous not poisonous. And as far as wrapping goes, snakes dont always wrap things up to kill them. If you didnt have any arms or legs how would you hold on to things? You would wrap around things to hold on, if it didnt bit him it must not have seen him as a potential food source, just a branch or something to hold on to. With reptiles its all about being an extension of their natural habitat, not something that is grabbing them so much as something that they can perch on or grab on to.

No, Moses didn't bite him. He never bit either of them that I know of. Thanks for the info.
