do you know any extra info on how this was designed, or what is the story related to this particular "creature"? I can see it is some sort of simbolic thing, bu I´d like to know more about it, if you know something

It was designed by Judas Priest with Doug Johnson for their album Screaming for Vengeance ('82).
It embodies the general mood and lyrical content of the album as whole and it has its own song, The Hellion which is a triumphant instrumental intro that blends into the first whole track Electric Eye on the album, which deals with lyrical content like 24/7 surveillance in a dystopian totalitarian society and depicts a metal avenger that's always watching and reporting everything you do.
Basically a badass metal beast which you can never escape from
