Done for the fanart50 challenge on LJ, prompt #15: Take Me.I decided to go with the less dirty, but hopefully no less pretty, connotation of the prompt. Because I have a vision of Apollo and Midnighter's wedding that doesn't involve that -horrid- thing Midnighter actually wore to their wedding in Millar's run. XP

I know that Midnighter's been showing wearing white civvies at least one or two times in the comic which I thought rather clever, but GEH it just struck me as rather inappropriate at their wedding. Maybe it was just the fug. Could be that.

This is the umpteenth time I've looked at this lol. Needing some reference for my own fanart. XD I can't get over their expressions. Apollo is just so...snarky and happy looking and Midnighter's...content...but not a total spaztoid, lmao. When they're done, he's gonna go kill something.

Once upon a time, two superheroes spent five years on the run together, hiding from the scary evil dude who made them metahuman and was trying to reclaim and/or kill them. They spent this time hiding in warehouses and sometimes being naked.
Then, evil guy was killed, and after a while they were recruited into a team a little like the JLA only on a grander scale and way badder called "The Authority". They did lots of stuff, and eventually their power started pissing off the wrong people, who decided to send bad things after them. After the bad things were dealt with, the two supers above, Apollo and Midnighter, were all, "That's it, we're getting married," (well, that's what they say in my head) and so... they do. Only in the comic, they get the most aesthetically and mentally hideous wedding ceremony I've ever beheld, on top of really really badly planned out wedding outfits. So I fixed them. The end! XD
Except for where the comic is still going, long after this, but that's comicdom for you.
