PLEEEEASE FULL VIEWIt's not fighting, it's foreplay! I slapped this on a T-shirt to wear to this year's Yaoi Con. Got pretty good feedback on it ^^
'Tis the colored version of this sketch right heah --> [link] Though it's really not the same without the vericose veins. Speaking of which, I've yet to figure out why Lucas would have them under that eye. Just seemed right. I'm at a loss explanation-wise, though. Also, I think ZΓ€hne's getting prettier and less insane. *curses* Must fix this sometime.
Oh yes, and I finally figured out what the gradient tool in Photoshop was good for. Sure made coloring a hell of a lot easier. Oh, and props to Nem for letting me gank her "mistreat a bishie" slogan.

What actually happened was that I was looking for a name, preferably German, that started with a Z. I flipped randomly through a dictionary and saw "ZΓ€hne = teeth" and, him being a vampire, a started laughing because it was so hilarious and perfect! So, yes, got it ^_^

I am impressed, as always. *ish humbled in your presence* Although I can't help but point out.. Is Lucas' head a bit to small? I mean in being round.. Er... Yeah. I mean compare the width from the nose to the back of the head. When placed against Zahne, Lucas' head is quite small.
But that is the only thing I think that would be wrong with it. So other that that. I love it! D

Most definitely. And that was /after/ I tried shifting the hairline down the forehead and a few stray locks back. That was about as far as I dared edit it, though, before I deconstructed everything. *sniff* And it looked fine in the sketch T_T But yes, thank you for pointing it out--I wasn't sure if it was just me or not ^^

I have my lineart on a layer of their own, and I just give them an inner stroke of .. uh, whatever color is slightly darker than the darkest color of the particular outlined feature. And I discovered the gradient tool lying underneath the fill paint bucket tool--much easier than numerous gradient layers, since it allows me to work off one solid color layer ^^
The hair just ... pissed me off for the hours it took, but in the end I think we learned to get along ...
