Oh yeeessss....*shot*Done! DONE! Donedonedonedone....
Sketch: 25 min
Inking: 9 hrs
Coloring: roughly a day and a half
BG: 1 hr 30 min
Spread over 6 days.
Okay, alot to say.
I have NEVER drawn Sora, Riku, or anybody from Kingdom Hearts. I've sketched so much then decided that none of them looked good in my style. Then I sketched a picture that I rather liked. However, the sketch was really messy, and only I could tell what it was of. e.e; So, I scanned it, and inked it in Photoshop. Took me forever cause I wanted the lines just so, and it was my first inking attempt at Photoshop as well. I rather like that.
Then in coloring it, I realized that I cannot color hair to save my life, so I colored it mainly in the regular art style. Fun fun.
As I went through the image, I'd find diffrent details that I missed, and went back and would carfully change thme and add them. Slowly, I colored and fixed, tweaked and the like, till I got this.

Wanted them as close as possible to the offical art style, cause I love that style. <3
The bg I sped on, but it has the official logo, the theme song lyrics, and Sora's thoughts from a certain scene. I lacked creativity on that. XP I guess it looks okay...but Sora is the one thing that Im proud of in this picture. VERY proud of.
I like how the chains around his neck came out, although they took forever. I love how his pose is, how he stands. The keyblade is a little off, but you'll all let that pass, right?
I know that the SA shadin on the keyblade sucks, that's cause I had NO idea what I was doing. >.> hehehe...The reason that I blurred the Keyblade into movement was that it didn't look quite right. ;; He's just putting it on his shoulder or something.
*sings* Riku has a fat head. But, that's only politically correct for his hair...e.e;
Left it big for teh detail, but I put a watermark.
Okay, I HATE how Donald came out, and Goofy too. Riku looked better black and white and Kairi needs a new face. >.<
I lack anymore explanation, besides, who reads these?

I agree on the sword looking wierd but hey looks fine.. um your right about daffy, but goofy looks great. The Face on the Chica looks fine, different from your style, but i like it... she merely lacks a body
The other guy.. I like the perspective it turned out fine with him... really nothing i can nitpick.. I dont do enough digital art TO nit pick

Anyhow, this looks great! ^__^ It was well worth your time, and each character looks very cool done up in your style. All the detail in the lineart and color came out really nicely. I like how you made the keyblade have some movement to it there, since he's sort of swinging it back behind him. Very nice layout to it, and even if you think the background is kind of simple, I like it, since the calm blue makes me think of their Destiny Island. =]

I almost forgot that I wanted to blur the Keyblade, and I had to go back after I submitted and blur it then resubmit. I hope that it helped the image as a whole.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts before Vel, I must not lie. I barely know who these characters are (except for Donald and Goofy, God knows I love them to itsy peices) So excuse me while I take my time on this peice
Ok, the chains, to start with, kind of jumped out at me because I remember you telling me that you couldn't draw chains for your life, as you stated in the description as well. For someone who can't draw them, you seemed to have mastered it in this little peice here 
Now for the style you used. As Sonic-kun has already pointed out, I must agree with him. Your style is so unique and welcoming, thus why you have so many fans Vel. And I do see a hint of your style in here which made my eyes happy as well!!!
The hands. Sora's hand blow me away. Like, his position, or pose, and the perspective you put his hand in, like almost like we're looking at it from atop, is like, brilliant. Ugh you must be master at hands for I see no flaws in the hands ;; Perfect sexy man hands B) And I must say you defined his body rather well, especially his chest area, he looks like he actually has a body underneath all those clothes (but just in case... JK!)
The Bg, personally to me, doesn't look rushed. It looks very professional Miss Vel. And the lyrics go along with it so nicely, mm yes. Ok so all in all, I shall fav because of the actual artness in this picture and because I feel like I've talked to you for some of this pic, and I think I may have helped with a little bit with the song I sent you? I hope I inspired you a tiny bit my Vel!

Wow, that's nice. The coloring and inking are nice, I can tell you took your time (points at your comment) in more ways than one! I've never used photoshop before, but you're obviously very good at it. I agree with Shadow-nori up there about Riku, and the fact that sora looks like he's about to smack himself in the head with the keyblade XD I do however thing the BG is cool, it goves the pic a neat feel to it!

I just noticed he was doing a peice sign! *examines picture more* Riku's head looks a tad bit fat and I'll agree with you Kairi's face.... you did a wondderful job on inking and Sora's Detail. Yeah, I got lazy on the bg, and when it came to everyone else. But Sora is the only one that counts. I realise that Riku and Kairi look weird...>.>...and I even concidered erasing them and the other two...but I left them in. =3
