Description This is a rather old work, but I really like how it turned out. It's not completely like I idealized it, but it's pretty close. Though I'm likely to redo this work at some point...
This is Martel from one of my favourite games, Tales of Symphonia; and, would I worship any god at all, I'd probably worship her. She's amazing and worth it.

By the way, I noticed I've been posting a lot of fanart lately...

The first thing I noticed about this picture was the staff. That pink flower looks exactly like the lotus-like flower that was supposed to hold her soul. A very thoughtful touch! I also like the liberties you took with her dress. Beautiful work.

That was the idea I just regret not having made that flower blue like the Great Tree Seed, but otherwise I'm glad to see that this detail was noticed.
I've always adored Martel's design, so I did want to add some personal touches I'll probably remake this drawing someday yet again.

This image is certainly well done, good job!
I like how vibrant the green is and how you reflected the red in the shoes in the staff :3 makes a nice balance!

The staff is pink though... I guess my scan didn't pick the colours correctly though now that I think about it, for the picture to be accurate to the game, the flower should be blue. :') oh well.

I do, too! Symphonia fanart is never enough this one was a sort of test, I intend on doing a detailed piece of the Four Seraphim someday, since I love them all. Though, now that I think about it, I should've made the flower blue...
