Description As part of my 'experimental drawings', the complete opposite of the last post: SHINYDESU!
As much as it's hard for me to paint hardcore anime-ish art, it's hard to do cutesy kawaii-desu and this is my failed attempt to do it. Also, it is the first time I ever try out (real) watercolors and oil pastels!Watercolors are fun! Working wih water is almost like a therapy. I like.

I hope you like.
Also, if you guys know good watercolor/pastel tutorials, I'll be glad if you show me them<3

Time: +- 5 hours
Tools: HB, 0.05 and 0.1 Mitsubishi pigment inks, Faber-Castell watercolors and watercolorpencils and Pentel oil pastels.

Woooahhh. I love this. So shineyy! The expression is really good, too. The only thing I think looks a bit funny is that the mouth seems a bit far to the right... and maybe too high up too? I'm not sure, but it looks slightly out of proportion...
I love the background, it's amazing.

Haha lol yes, but I have a reason for this!xD I started reading my fav mangas again and I realized how much experience I lack;__; so I started experimenting. Hope this helps somehow....

I understand._. I have come to a point where it is hard to know what to improve so I am just trying out new things and see what I can do.

I think I will, once Spring break rolls around (two more days!!). I've been working on improving my style, so hopefully some experimenting will bring me closer to my goal. c: I hope we both find what we're searching for!

I like watercolours too, and I know what you mean about it being theraputic also, *emperpep has a watercolour tutorial which I thought was pretty useful :3 I learnt some tips from it, anyway.

I think this is nice, it seems very yellow I think her eyes could do with having a little more depth to the pupils, she looks a little glazed at the moment. I like how the hair changes very subtly into other colours at the tips, that's a nice touch.

I like seeing you experimenting with other media, it's cool. When do we get to see some more digital stuff you?
