Barcelona 2004One of the beautiful things about living in a city next to the sea is that you can wake up one morning, walk 5 minutes and see this sunrise in the sea. I've been living in a city without that for 25 years. Now it's my time to revenge

From my apartment, when the day is a bit windy, you can smell the aire from the sea too. It's a nice feeling.
La Marbella is a beach next to the Olympic village in Barcelona. It literally means the Beautiful Sea.

beautiful colours in the sky and the composition is great too.
10/1600 is a very fast shutter speed for this level of light and it still looks great!

Many thanks Alan. Yes, it's a plane. Many of the planes going to El Prat (Barcelona's airport) have to turn around at that point and land from the north, so there's always a plane in that landscape
10/1600 or 10/1250 are the fastest speeds I can use holding the camera by myself, my hands tremble too much, especially in the morning. I guess I'm getting old

Nice how the silhouettes of the fishermen are set against the wonderful colours of dawn but they're still in the grey.
I guess they enjoy the light effects more than fishing.

Thanks. The fishermen while fishing are one of the most dangerous species on earth. They're willing to kill you if you dare to make any noise taking pics. I had to take most of the pictures with the telelens

Thanks! Since the sun is still behind the horizon I think they're the shadows caused by the reflection of the light in the clouds. What do you think?
