Description Warhammer 40k: Blood Angels Land Speeder

6 step process for the red (All Citadel Paints)

Chaos Black Spray Base Coat

1. Mephiston Red (Smoothly layered on)
2. Carroburg Crimson (Washed over the red)
3. Mephiston Red (Leaving dark recesses)
4. Evil Sunz Scarlet (Edges)
5. Wild Rider Red (Edges)
6. Red Ink (Washed over the red)*Discontinued years ago

The Red Ink serves to blend all the colors together but still show the recess shading and the highlights.

Thank you.  I abhor painting red myself -- it always comes out pink or orange.  You red looks fantastic and I'm inspired to try to emulate it.

Hopefully my style can help you with that.

Now that I am happy with red I am working to master yellow...that might take awhile.
