If you look around, and ask around the right circles, you can find the guys who make them. They are made from ABS plastic. A thicker plastic often used to make things like hard hats and such. They are vacuum formed, which is a process I currently don't have the space for. But one day hope to do as well.
Generally they come in sheets that you then have cut the pieces off of, do a little sanding, then Velcro or snap them together, depending on how you want to do it.

the guy that sight recommends is rather lenient you can set up payment plans if you can put down the first 200 so thats helpful as well thats definitely goin on my list of things to get once i find a new job.
