Well, I finally got my ass in gear and decided to finish this. I've been working on the sketch for ages. I'm still not convnced this looks how I want it to, but I've been staring at it for several hours straight now and fiddling with it, so I decided to just go ahead and post it, mainly because my brain now hurts.And I have no clue what's happening in the pucture either, possibly Dean wants to kill someone and Castiel doesn't agree. Or something, IDK.

ETA: Aaaand I've just now realised that Castiel's coat is actually double breasted. MY FAIL. And this from a costume designer too, oh the shame!!

Oooo, I like! You've really got Misha's (and through him, Cas') ability to say an entire explanation or argument with a single look. I can practically see it; Dean going in for the kill and Cas just grabbing his wrist, lowering the arm just a bit, and just looking at him. XD
My head, being a Cas/Anna-fueled one, is going to say that the person Dean wants to kill is Anna. Which makes a story in my head that I want to write...

I'm really glad you mentioned Cas' expression, as I'm constantly trying to improve how I draw expressions, so that meant a lot.

I don't know if it was intended or not, but I like the way the tie...string...thing around Castiel's coat (is there a name for it? otl) and his pocket make the shape of a cross. If it was intended, that's pretty neat, and if not, it's still cool
I love this pairing so very much. It's so adorably cute, and at the same time so blasphemous. That's one of the best parts. <3
But I like the pic. I love their expressions XD especially Dean's. And Cas is all unamused. And it's funny.

Have you read the novel Good Omens? I think the SPN writers have been reading it a lot while writing this latest series - Crowley is pretty much straight out of the novel.

I love this picture and I'm new to the show...is this really a credible pairing? I mean since Cas is an Angel, he can't really have that kind of relationship with a human can he? ( is VERY curious)

Well personally I think that as far as show canon goes, Cas could form a relationship with a human, but it would probably cost them both dearly! I would say more, but I don't want to spoil anything for you!

...the thought of exactly what IS going on here is gnawing at me, but I'm refusing to let it turn into a full on bunny because I have two finals tomorrow, dammit! *headdesk* hehe
This is such a great image. <3 I love the blood, and the detail on the knife, and the way Cas is grabbing sort of impassively, like it's just "NO" with no room for argument. And as I can't even draw decent stick figures, I can TOTALLY understand how Jensen's face would be so, SO hard to draw. Awesome job on this.

And your idea of what is going on is pretty much how I imagined it in my head, something along the lines of Cas not needing to use a firm grip to stop Dean, because Dean knows he wouldn't stand a chance if he actually picked a fight.
