I know how important is to try to make an effort to save them hence I spend my free time volunteering in my city zoo zoo's are important for education and help their conservation

That's great of you.
I think so, too. Many people really talk bad about zoos and some zoos are really bad but most zoos put a lot affort in trying to save animals from dying out and informing people. And in most zoos the keepers put all their heart in their jobs.

Same here. The care about the animals in an amazing way and they are always ready to talk to the visitors and answer questiosns, they get asked a milion times a day, in a friendly way.
