I think this is because it's impossible to write one. Every zoo is different. The best way to do it is trying it, doing some mistakes and learning from them. Of course others can give some advice but for most people the easiest way to learn something is simply doing it.

For zoo photos I use a Cannon 55-250mm or a Tamron 75-300mm lens. Both telezoom.
