Actually I usually Imagine what it would've been like if this show was actually about Ashi as the main character.
but she would actually have the Exact same Backstory as Jack but would still be a Ninja.
it would be called "Ninja Ashi"
it would even portray the Other Characters Differently:
the Demon-Ashi would be like Aku and be called Aki,
Scaramouch would be the Scotsman,
this would sound odd but I also imagine if Da Samurai was her Father in this AU except he would be more like Jacks Father.
I even imagine other Tartakovsky Characters as Replacements of these Characters.
like Oppo Ranchisis (from the 2003 Clone Wars) would be the Rothschild of this AU. I can imagine it right off the Bat X-D

Here is my AU version: A long time ago there was a legendary samurai who fought in a never-ending war. His name was Jack and he was known to be an amazing swordsman accomplishing many feats making his enemies astonished. But, Jack's life wasn't that easy during the war he lost his comrades left and right and saw many villages burn down while people suffered. Not only that, worst of all he lost his master. Jack, traumatized by the events in the war became a ronin and decided to never get himself involved in any conflict and puts away his sword because it reminded him too much of that tragedy. One day when Jack is walking through an abandoned village he hears a cry of a baby. Jack searches for the source and he finds the crying coming from an old house. Jack approaches the orphan who was pure and innocent. Jack comforts the infant cradling her in his arms. He names her Ashi. Jack raises Ashi while not letting her find out the truth who he really is. Jack teaches Ashi the ways of the samurai and how to wield a sword. He even teaches her some injustu in the process. Everything was peaceful until, one night. It was dark outside and Jack puts Ashi to sleep. All of a sudden Jack can sense a presence, Jack looks at Ashi knowing that he needed to protect her, so he takes out his sword and captiously takes a step outside. Jack draws his blade and takes a stance. The wind blows, crickets are chirping, and the leaves rustle in the wind. Then ... a shadowy figure jumps out from the bushes!!! It was some kind of beast! The beast had huge fangs, long horns, sharp claws, red eyes, and a long, pointy tail. The beast stares at Jack and lets out a fierce roar. Jack wasn't afraid because he knew he had someone to protect. The beast charges at Jack. Jack readies his blade and the battle ensues. It was dawn Jack won the was covered in terrible wounds from his battle. Ashi wakes up to see her master covered in wounds. She became worried and began to cry. Jack slowly approaches and smiles at the kind child. Jack tells Ashi that she'll become stronger and when the time comes Ashi will learn what it means to protect something that is important to her. Years have passed Ashi has grown into a full fledged woman as for Jack, he died from his wounds. Ashi now travels the land journeying to become stronger while using her sword to protect the innocent. Along the way she fights demons that have mysteriously showed up all over the land.

hey yeah! in that timeline Ashi kills Aku in the future instead of that Jack kills Aku in the past.

or if Ashi did strike enough blows on Aku for One Final blow to be struck and Ashi is actually almost killed but Jack strikes the Final Blow and kills Aku but he still dies.
and to add to the Feels have the Wolf meet Ashi at the End

That is how the series should have ended. She seems even more powerful, stronger, wiser, nobler. I like the sword coming out while she contemplates what she must do. She's not lost her edge at all.

and she would have some of Aku's powers, she'd be perfectly killing aku where jack failed. if jack killed aku in the future Ashi whould have existed still.

I love the quote here. It really speaks to me that Ashi MIGHT be the one to carry on Jack's legacy should the Samurai die at the hands of Aku.
It would be amazing as a spin-off if possible.

And he succeeds. Then years later he becomes that king in the portal episode only then he gathers an army and kills Aku.BTW should send this hugeass disappointing ending to your friend. Least you can save them from this big disgusting disappointment .

thanks man, that means i've succeeded in portraying what i wanted to. i wanted to include jack here but not in a basic way, i somehow wanted intertwine them both to express how jack's spirit lives on in his student.
you better buckle up and grab a 12-pack of beer cause you're gonna have the time of your life ! the show is amazing and the art-style looks better than ever before. so sad this is the last season.
