This is the first installment of my Pokémon x Yu-Gi-Oh! Argentum series. What is Pokémon x Yu-Gi-Oh! Argentum? It is a crossover fanfiction series that loosely follows the events of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga and anime series (along with some video games that will be adapted) but set in the Pokémon world. The series features a ton of OCs (original characters) in starring roles along with some themes that might not be suitable to some readers. The general content warning will be listed here and updated after every chapter is posted. Original Pokémon will also be featured, but they will mostly be mutated, crossbreed versions similar to regional variants and convergent species with inspiration taken from Yu-Gi-Oh monster archetypes and Nevada fauna, flora, etc.

Summary: Mikasa "Mikey" Akagane is a Jr. Pokémon Breeder who is lucky to be alive after a deadly fire nearly killed her, leaving her with terrible scars on the left side of her body. The one behind this miracle is the mythical Pokémon, Mew, who she befriended on a trip with her father years prior. Now, there are others who want to use Mew for their own desires and confront Mikey in an attempt to do so. She is not alone, however, as her new friends have her back as they all learn the value of friendship.

This season is loosely based on the original seven volumes of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga and the 1998 Toei anime.
