The tree screams out "HEY NO FAIR!! That balloon was MINE!". Meanwhile, Mr. Sword in the Bird's Nest stares blankly in self-important disinterest. Also: why is there a sword in the bird nest? you know what, don't tell me, any explanation will ruin its mystique.

Lol I can just imagine the Big Chiefs back at Central when their Abduction Squad returns with a balloon! I doubt the saucer's captain will get another chance....

First the water the mist and the tree (especially the tree) are awesome; but what really makes this piece for me is how I giggled and sputtered my water when I saw the UFO and balloon.

It's definitely both. Is almost like the aliens came and said "Damn, this balloon is the only thing worth taking in this hell whole". Another scenario I think of is that the aliens don't have a visual of the planet they're sampling from and all they have to go on is this random bright sample they bring back. The balloon gives them the wrong wrong impression of the planet. When they send a scouting ship down, they are unpleasantly surprised and meet their death.
Yep, probably looking too deep into it but at least I'm enjoying your art.
