I believe in opening your mind to states of self-reflection that transcend ordinary experience. But "perspective" is what leads us towards truth. All experience must be judged against learning, all learning must be judged against experience, and all of both must be judged against reason. When it comes down to it, our lives are not endless, nor are they joyful, terrible, or meaningful. Our lives are finite, our lives are tragic, our lives are beautiful...our lives are what we make them.
