Description
Kestrel is the first new, original character to join the Strike Force.

Sybil Tan graduated from college at age 17 and joined United States Space Command and NASA, where she spent several years, received the title of major and earned the callsign "Kestrel". There she was recruited by Nick Fury to lead a project backed by Blue Marvel and Tony Stark that would form the precursor to S.T.R.I.K.E.'s interdimensional technology.

Kestrel volunteered to be the first to try out the portal generator, but the machine suffered a malfunction, resulting in Kestrel finding herself drifting between realities. In her attempts to return to her reality, Kestrel eventually managed to reach the Quantum Realm through which she reached Earth, but in an alternate timeline. During this time, Kestrel developed a sense to intuit how and when timeline splits could happen, and the ability to manipulate events in order to cause her desired effects to happen, effectively being able to affect the outcome of seemingly random events.
Kestrel continued to attempt to reach her timeline, but instead discovered multiple universes invaded by Ultimus. While in those worlds she did her best to help fight back the invasions until she finally managed to return to Nexus Earth , her original timeline, reuniting with S.T.R.I.K.E.

She then told Nick Fury about what she had seen and is now working alongside the heroes to stop Ultimus from invading her home.
